Amanda offers bespoke physical assessment and yoga practices to address individual needs to relieve pain, aid rehabilitation and improve physical and mental wellness. Each session gives the client a practical treatment plan with adaptations that provide a unique programme that clients can follow at home and improve through regular 1:1 sessions. These sessions are entirely personal focused.

 Yoga therapy is the application of yoga practices to alleviate physical and mental health conditions, promote self-care, and encourage overall well-being. Whilst the practice of yoga in general aims to cultivate the body and mind and hence has the potential for therapeutic effects, in yoga therapy, she uses specific yoga practices and their known benefits to help alleviate or improve mental and physical ailments.

Amanda runs regular yoga classes and works with a range of yoga styles from Hatha to Yin and Slow Vinyasa. These sessions, whilst containing adaptations for each participant, are designed to meet the needs of a group through a range of yoga sequences.

With over 20years of practice and teaching, Amanda combines her skills as a yoga practitioner with Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and Sports Massage Therapies to provide complete anatomy and physiology-based treatment plan.

For example, she has a proven track record and success working with osteoarthritis, sciatica and palliative care patients. She holds a GP referral certificate for working with various clinical conditions and special populations through Social Prescribing providers.

Having worked as a vulnerable adult advocate, she also applies the principles of breathwork, integrating mindful practice and psychology of self-care to guide and empower individuals.

Massage pre and post event is a great way to ensure peak performance for any sportsperson and can also benefit anyone who has achy, overworked muscles!

Massage improves circulation so increases blood flow to muscles assisting in the healing process of damaged muscular tissues and increases the rate at which waste is eliminated from the body by improved lymph flow.

Using firm pressure and applying stretches (PNF and AIS methods used) the muscles and joints benefit from this treatment.

Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage

A soothing massage of the back area using trigger point therapy to ease points of tension and softer movements to melt away stress. This massage will leave you feeling stress free and floating.
